To be successful, keep your blinders on and focus on yourself. It is proven that deep focus helps narrow down your thoughts. You start to take more control over your own mind. The more you focus on you and your path, the happier you will be. This ties directly into not comparing yourself to others. That theme of comparison has unfortunately become easier due to social media being at the direct reach of our fingertips.

The ole saying goes, “You are your own thoughts”. What you focus on expands into your actual reality. No point in giving others attention if you aren’t paying attention to your own growth. Without a focus on you, there will be no process.
Challenge – Focus on yourself for the next 24 hours and see if you can spot a difference in your own personal grounding. Prioritize yourself with intention. Be obnoxious about it if you have to. See if you notice a difference.
Bezos talks about this at Amazon — ignore the competition. John Wooden too said he never worried about beating anyone, and yet his teams beat everyone consistently. The focus should be on becoming the best version of oneself and the rest will take care of itself. Blinders up & go!
